I’m so excited to share the news that I was recently featured in another article, 99 Tips for Beginner Bloggers!
I have been working with a number of wonderful authors lately to combine our voices for our audience’s benefits.
We know we don’t know everything, but we strive to provide our audiences with genuine and truthful blog posts… Sometimes that requires bringing in fellow writers to provide their input on the subjects we are working on.
Collaborating on the topic
I don’t talk about tips for beginner bloggers on my website because to me, it doesn’t fit into my niche. I love talking about my lifestyle as a mama and a military spouse, so I stick to those subjects, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have knowledge on that side of things!
Lou, who runs Online Business Growth Hacks, requested some input about suggestions for new bloggers. I wanted to help, but deciding on what I would give my knowledge on was harder than I expected. Not because I don’t want to share my knowledge– just last week I got together with Caitlyn at Power Wellness Coach to discuss her intentions and how to bring her dream to reality.
I didn’t know what to share because I have SO MUCH to share!

The topics I spoke on
After some back and forth with myself, I decided I’d talk about the basics when it came to blogging as a beginner.
I was lucky enough for my ideas to be featured not once, but twice on the blog post!
My first tip for beginner bloggers
My first tip was about WordPress themes. There are many cost factors when it comes to owning your own website. Producing content is only the tip of the iceberg in the blogging world.
You have to purchase a domain name, pay for hosting, choose a platform..
Don’t worry about buying a theme in the beginning. I think half of the fun is playing around with themes, anyways!
My second tip for beginner bloggers
I started my website without any help. I chose the WordPress platform, and highly recommend it to new bloggers. Using WordPress, I was able to design the functionality and the layout of my website without any help!
I shied away from blogging as a business owner for many years because I was intimidated by the thought of having to pay someone to set up a website for me, but here I am designing my own website!
WordPress is extremely user-friendly, and has wonderful technical support. I feel the same way about Siteground, my website host.
I definitely recommend taking the time to check out Lou’s post that has over 90 tips for new bloggers that are eager to jump into this line of work!
If you’re looking to collaborate, then feel free to reach out to me. I am always open to suggestions from fellow writers.
